과천시의회가 행정사무감사를 앞두고 시민들의 생활 속 불편과 제도 개선 의견을 직접 듣기 위한 시민 제보 접수에 나섰다.

과천시의회(의장 황선희)는 오는 8월 12일까지 10일간 행정사무감사와 관련한 시민 제보를 접수한다고 밝혔다. 접수된 의견은 오는 9월 실시되는 행정사무감사의 기초자료로 활용될 예정이다.

제보 대상은 감사가 필요하다고 판단되는 사항을 비롯해 시민 불편 사항, 제도 개선이 필요한 내용, 시정 운영의 불합리한 사례, 행정서비스 만족도 등 시정 전반과 관련된 의견이다. 시의회는 시민들이 일상에서 겪는 문제를 행정사무감사에 반영해 실효성 있는 개선책을 마련한다는 계획이다.

다만 국가나 경기도로부터 위임받아 처리하는 사무 가운데 국회나 경기도의회가 직접 감사 대상으로 정한 사안과 개인의 사생활을 침해하는 내용, 재판 또는 수사가 진행 중인 사건 등은 제보 대상에서 제외된다.

과천시의회는 접수된 시민 의견을 검토해 오는 9월 9일부터 17일까지 열리는 행정사무감사특별위원회에서 문제점을 점검하고 개선 방안을 마련하는 데 적극 활용할 방침이다.

황선희 과천시의회 의장은 “행정사무감사는 시민의 눈높이에서 시정을 점검하고 개선하는 중요한 의정활동”이라며 “생활 현장에서 느끼는 불편과 개선 의견을 적극 제보해 주시면 시민의 목소리가 시정에 반영될 수 있도록 꼼꼼히 살피겠다”고 말했다.

Gwacheon City Council Accepts Citizen Reports for Administrative Audit… Collecting Opinions Until August 12

Ahead of the administrative audit, the Gwacheon City Council has begun accepting citizen reports to directly hear citizens' opinions on daily inconveniences and institutional improvements.

The Gwacheon City Council (Chairperson Hwang Seon-hee) announced that it will accept citizen reports regarding the administrative audit for 10 days, until August 12. The submitted opinions are intended to be used as foundational data for the audit to be conducted this coming September.

The subjects of the reports include opinions related to overall city administration, such as matters deemed to require an audit, citizen inconveniences, issues requiring institutional improvement, unreasonable instances of city administration operations, and satisfaction with administrative services. The City Council plans to incorporate the problems citizens experience in their daily lives into the administrative audit to develop effective improvement measures.

However, matters handled under delegation from the State or Gyeonggi Province that have been directly designated for audit by the National Assembly or the Gyeonggi Provincial Council, content that infringes upon an individual's privacy, or cases currently under trial or investigation are excluded from the scope of reports.
