경기도의회 국민의힘 건전재정 혁신추진단이 경기도와 경기도교육청의 재정 운용 현황을 점검하고 7,700억 원 규모로 예상되는 감액 추가경정예산안 대응에 나섰다.

추진단은 10일 경기도의회에서 제2차 회의를 열고 도와 도교육청의 재정 여건과 예산 현황, 채무 상황 등을 살펴봤다. 이날 회의에는 윤종영 단장을 비롯한 국민의힘 도의원들과 도·교육청 예산 담당 공무원, 회계·세무 전문가 등이 참석했다.

회의에서는 도의회 예산 분석을 바탕으로 한 재정 건전성 진단 보고에 이어 경기도 채무 현황과 감액 추경을 둘러싼 질의응답이 진행됐다.

윤종영 단장은 “9월 추경에서 재정 비상 상황을 이유로 민생예산 7,700억 원이 기계적으로 삭감되지 않도록 재정 운용 실태를 면밀히 분석하고 대안을 마련하겠다”며 “재정 안정화를 위한 제도적 기반도 함께 마련해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

방성환 국민의힘 대표의원도 “재정개혁은 구체적인 대안과 근거를 바탕으로 추진돼야 한다”며 세입 확충 방안과 세출 구조조정 방향을 포함한 실효성 있는 감액 추경안 마련을 주문했다.

추진단은 앞선 1차 회의와 내부 자료 분석을 통해 경기도 세수 추계와 재정 운용 과정의 문제점을 점검했으며, 감액 추경과 기금 운용, 지방채 발행으로 이어진 재정 상황을 분석하고 있다.

추진단은 오는 9월 제393회 임시회에 앞서 3차 회의를 열고 감액 추경에 대한 구체적인 대응 방안을 논의할 예정이다.

The People Power Party’s Sound Fiscal Innovation Task Force of the Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly inspected the financial management status of Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education and set out to respond to a supplementary budget cut expected to amount to 770 billion won.

The Task Force held its second meeting at the Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly on the 10th to examine the financial conditions, budget status, and debt situation of the province and the Office of Education. The meeting was attended by People Power Party provincial assembly members, including Task Force Head Yoon Jong-young, as well as budget officials from the province and the Office of Education, and accounting and tax experts.
