군포도시공사(사장 배재국)가 행정안전부 주관 ‘2026년 지방공기업 경영평가’에서 ‘우수’ 등급을 받으며 전국 시설관리공사·공단 시·군 공사 평가군 29개 기관 가운데 6위를 기록했다.

지방공기업 경영평가는 전국 지방공기업을 대상으로 경영관리와 경영성과를 비롯해 고객만족도, 안전관리, 사회적 책임, 재무건전성 등 기관 운영 전반을 종합적으로 평가하는 제도다. 올해는 특히 안전관리와 지역상생, 공공서비스 등 지방공기업의 공공성과 사회적 책임 강화에 평가의 중점이 맞춰졌다.

군포도시공사는 그동안 ESG 경영을 바탕으로 조직 내부 혁신과 직원 역량 강화, 고객서비스 개선, 안전관리 체계 고도화 등을 지속적으로 추진해 왔다.

이 같은 노력은 각종 대외 평가와 수상으로도 이어졌다. 공사는 ‘장애인 친화 최우수 공공체육시설’에 선정된 데 이어 ‘한국에너지대상’을 수상하는 등 분야별 성과를 거뒀으며, 지역사회 공헌활동을 통해 공기업의 사회적 책임도 강화해 왔다.

지역 현안 사업에도 적극적으로 참여하고 있다. 의왕·군포·안산 공공주택지구 조성사업을 비롯해 기존 도시 정비사업에 대한 공공지원 등 지역 발전과 도시 경쟁력 강화를 위한 사업에 힘을 보태고 있다.

군포도시공사는 이번 경영평가 결과를 계기로 시민 중심의 공공서비스와 안전관리 역량을 한층 강화하고, 지속적인 경영혁신을 통해 지역사회와 시민에게 신뢰받는 공기업으로 자리매김한다는 계획이다.

Gunpo Urban Development Corporation (President Bae Jae-guk) received an ‘Excellent’ grade in the ‘2026 Local Public Enterprise Management Evaluation’ organized by the Ministry of Interior and Safety, ranking 6th among 29 municipal and city-level facility management corporations and agencies evaluated nationwide.

The Local Public Enterprise Management Evaluation is a system that comprehensively assesses the overall operation of local public enterprises across the country, covering management control and performance, as well as customer satisfaction, safety management, social responsibility, and financial soundness. This year, the focus of the evaluation was particularly placed on strengthening the public nature and social responsibility of local public enterprises, including safety management, regional co-prosperity, and public services.

Based on ESG management, Gunpo Urban Development Corporation has continuously pursued internal organizational innovation, strengthened employee capabilities, improved customer service, and advanced safety management systems.

These efforts have also led to various external evaluations and awards.
