안양과천교육지원청·안양시, 학부모 대표·교장단·동장 협의회 개최

안양과천교육지원청(교육장 김경관)이 교육부 지정 미래교육지구에 안양이 선정됨에 따라, 상향식 풀뿌리 교육거버넌스를 통한 지역 특성과 강점에 기반한 미래교육을 운영한다.

 

이를 위해 7월 13일부터 19일까지 초·중·고 학부모대표협의회, 안양 동안구 초·중·고 교장 및 동장협의회, 안양 만안구 초·중·고 교장 및 동장협의회를 안양과천교육지원청 대회의실에서 개최했다.

 

이는 지난 지방선거에서 당선된 민선5기 임태희 경기도교육감의 취임 기자회견에서 “다양한 교육과정 운영을 위해 미래학교 유형을 확대하겠다. 특히, 학교 안에서 모두 소화하기 어려운 영역은 지역사회 시설과 분야별 전문가 인력풀을 활용하는 공유학교를 운영해 학교교육과정을 확장하겠다’고 밝힌 경기교육 방향과 뜻을 같이한 것이다. 회의 참석자들은 학생들이 학교를 넘어 마을에서도 배울 수 있는 미래교육콘텐츠 공유체제를 구축할 수 있도록 안양의 모든 구성원 대표들이 머리를 맞대고 협의했다.

 

13일 열린 초·중·고 학부모 대표 협의회에서는 희망하는 미래교육 활동에 관해 의견을 나눴다. 학교와 행정복지센터 및 마을의 유관기관들이 연계해 아이들의 돌봄과 방과후 교육활동들이 함께 이루어졌으면 좋겠다는 의견을 개진했다.

 

18일, 19일 초·중·고 교장단 및 행정복지센터 동장 협의회에서는 학교와 행정복지센터의 교육 연계 방안, 지역의 교육 자원들과 마을의 특성을 찾고, 향후 교육프로그램의 발전 방향에 대해 논의했다. 일회성으로 그치지 않고 마을별 교육자치협의회를 정례화하기로 했다.

 

김경관 교육장은 “모든 학생이 꿈꾸는 대로 결대로 꿈을 이루도록 마을 권역마다 단위학교 지원, 학교간 연계 지원, 마을교육 등을 핵심과제로 해 인문․독서, 스포츠, 진로교육 활성화에 노력할 것”이라며, “사회경제, 자연과학, 정보, 공학, 음악, 미술, 종합예술교육은 다양한 선택형 교육으로 지원하고자 한다”고 말했다.

 

8월부터는 모든 학생들이 꿈과 희망을 찾아 실현해 나갈 수 있도록 19개 권역으로 편성된 마을단위 교육거버넌스 협의회가 지속적으로 개최될 예정이다.
