안산시 사동 주민자치회가 지난 5월 31일 경기도청 다산홀에서 열린 ‘2024년 제16회 경기도 주민자치 우수사례 경연대회’에서 ‘주민의 상상을 마을의 일상으로’라는 주제로 대상을 수상했다.

안양‧군포‧의왕‧과천 지역에서는 과천시를 대표해 문원동 주민자치위원회가 ‘갈등을 넘어 주민화합의 장을 만들다’라는 주제로 장려상을 수상했다.

경기도 주민자치 우수사례 경연대회는 지난해에 추진됐던 시군별 대표 주민자치회의 우수사례를 발표하고 시상하는 행사로, 올해에는 5개 수상 시군에 총 2,900만원의 우수사업비가 지원된다.

이번 대회에는 1차 서면심사에 참여한 30개 시‧군 중 15개 시군이 1차 심사를 통과해 참가했대. 대회는 각 시군의 대표 주민자치 우수사례를 해당 주민자치(위원)회 위원이 직접 발표하는 방식으로 진행됐다.
