(사)성남민주화운동사업회 주최‧주관한 ‘제37주년 6.10민주항쟁 경기도 기념식’이 지난 6월 10일 오전 ‘2024 경기민주대합창 피어라 민주, 어게인 1987’이라는 제목으로 경기아트센터 소극장에서 열렸다.

이번 기념식에서는 ‘피어라 민주 AGAIN 1987’이란 주제로 경기도 거주 수원, 파주, 고양 시민 60명으로 구성된 경기민주대합창, 퍼포머 그룹 쇼라마의 공연과 다양한 퍼포먼스가 선보여 참석자들의 많은 호응을 얻었다.

특히 당시 민주화 운동을 이끌었던 열사들의 희생과 헌신에 대한 소회의 시간은 참석자들에게 깊은 감동을 선사했다.

기념식에는 더불어민주당 김병욱·아수진 국회의원, 정윤경 경기도의원 등과 경기도지역 민주화운동계승단체 회원과 민주화운동 유가족 및 민주인사, 경기도 주요 기관·단체장 등 500여명이 참석했다.

이날 기념식은 극단 브릿지 쇼라마의 식전 공연에 이어 가수 겸 뮤지컬 배우 윤인지의 사회로 어린이합창단의 애국가 제창, 경기도 민주항쟁 기념식 관련 영상 상영, 기념사와 축사, 경기도 거주 어린이합창단과 수원·파주·고양 시민 60명으로 구성된 경기민주대합창, 참가자 전원이 참여하는 ‘피어라 민주’’ 퍼포먼스 순으로 진행됐다.

한편 이날 저녁 같은 장소에서 개최된 추모식은 배우 황건의 사회로, 민주화운동기념사업회 이재오 이사장과 각 기관 단체장의 추모사, 민주화운동희생자 유가족 대표의 인사말과 헌화 등의 순서로 진행됐다. 이어 민중가수로 널리 알려진 ‘안치환’의 노래와 어린이 뮤지컬 ‘리틀 용인’의 추모문화제가 진행됐다.

At this commemorative ceremony, under the theme of ‘Bloom, Democracy AGAIN 1987,’ performances by the Gyeonggi Democratic Grand Choir, composed of 60 citizens of Suwon, Paju, and Goyang residing in Gyeonggi Province, and the performer group Shorama, as well as various other performances were presented, receiving a great response from attendees.
