국제라이온스협회354-B지구 제7지역 사자회(회장 송연국)는 지난 9월 25일 안양1동의 횟집 ‘조개생각’에서 9월 월례회를 열고 지역 봉사 확대와 조직 활성화를 위한 논의를 진행했다.

이날 회의는 김초원 총무의 사회로 개회됐으며, 최혜경 재무의 재무보고를 시작으로 의안 상정과 공지사항 전달 순서로 차분히 이어졌다.

상정된 안건은 △사자회 단합대회 개최, △회원 확충 방안 등 두 가지였다. 회원들은 오는 10월 30일 제7지역 라이온스 클럽 회원들과 합동으로 단합대회를 열기로 뜻을 모았으며, 구체적인 장소와 일정 조율은 7지역 집행부에 위임하기로 결정했다. 또한 회원 확충과 관련해서는 현 회원들이 적극적으로 나서 미가입 상태에 있는 역대 회장을 최소 1명 이상 입회시키자는 데 의견을 모았다.

사자회는 국제라이온스협회354-B지구 제7지역 산하 각 클럽 회장을 역임한 전직 회장들이 친목과 지역사회 발전을 위해 조직한 모임으로, 현재 30여 명의 회원이 활동하고 있다. 회원들은 각 클럽의 자문 역할을 맡는 동시에 별도의 봉사활동을 통해 지역사회 단체와도 꾸준히 교류하고 있다.

The Lions Club of District 354-B, Area 7 (President Song Yeon-guk) held its September monthly meeting on September 25th at the raw fish restaurant "Jogae Saenggak" in Anyang 1-dong. The meeting discussed expanding community service and revitalizing the organization.

The meeting opened with Secretary Kim Cho-won presiding. Treasurer Choi Hye-gyeong presented a financial report, followed by a calm discussion of agenda items and announcements.

Two items were on the agenda: hosting a Unity Rally and expanding membership.
