벚꽃 터널 아래로 시민들의 웃음꽃이 활짝 피어났다. 안양의 봄을 대표하는 ‘2026 안양충훈벚꽃축제’가 지난 11일과 12일 양일간 만안구 충훈벚꽃길을 수놓으며 성공적으로 막을 내렸다.

올해 축제에는 이틀 동안 약 4만 명의 시민이 다녀가며 역대 최고의 인파를 기록했다. 충훈2교부터 와룡로까지 이어진 ‘차 없는 거리’는 온전히 보행자들의 차지가 됐고, 그 길 위로 인디밴드의 선율과 마술사들의 몸짓이 채워졌다. 벚꽃길 전 구간에 흐르는 ‘뮤직 스트리트’ 덕분에 방문객들은 눈과 귀가 모두 즐거운 봄날의 정취를 만끽했다.

안양시 관계자는 “올해는 공간의 변화를 시도해 시민들이 더 안전하고 여유롭게 즐길 수 있도록 준비했다”며 “앞으로도 지역 상권과 상생하며 시민들의 자부심이 되는 안양만의 브랜드 축제로 키워나가겠다”고 전했다.
