안양시의회 조지영 의원(더불어민주당, 안양아)이 평촌트리지아 재개발 사업 정상화에 기여한 공로로 공로패를 받았다.

조 의원이 지난 3월 20일 평촌트리지아(융창아파트 주변지구 주택재개발정비사업조합)로부터 입주 지연 위기 극복과 조합원 권익 보호에 기여한 공로를 인정받아 공로패를 수상했다.

이번 공로패는 융창지구 재개발 사업이 집행부 해임 사태와 입주 지연, 추가 분담금 갈등 등으로 어려움을 겪은 이후 사업 정상화 국면에 들어선 시점에서 수여됐다.

융창지구 재개발은 총사업비 약 1조 700억 원 규모로, 2024년 금리 인상과 공사비 상승에 따른 사업성 악화, 집행부 해임, 시공사와의 갈등 등으로 한때 사업 좌초 우려까지 제기된 바 있다. 특히 입주 지연과 지연이자 발생으로 조합원 재산권 침해 우려가 커지며 갈등이 심화됐다.

조지영 의원은 이러한 상황에서 조합원 간 갈등을 조율하고 행정기관과의 소통 창구 역할을 수행하며 사업 정상화 과정에 힘을 보탠 것으로 평가받고 있다.

조 의원은 “융창지구 재개발은 조합원들의 인내와 협력이 만들어낸 결과”라며 “어려운 상황 속에서도 끝까지 함께해 준 조합원들에게 감사드린다”고 말했다.

이어 “평촌트리지아가 지역을 대표하는 주거단지로 자리매김할 수 있도록 남은 행정 절차와 지역 현안 해결에도 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편 평촌트리지아는 시공사와의 채무 문제를 상당 부분 해소하고 보존등기를 앞두고 있는 등 사업 마무리 단계에 접어든 것으로 알려졌다.

Anyang City Council Member Cho Ji-young (Democratic Party of Korea, Anyang-A) received a plaque of merit in recognition of her contribution to the normalization of the Pyeongchon Trizia redevelopment project.

Council Member Cho received the plaque on March 20 from Pyeongchon Trizia (Yungchang Apartment Surrounding District Housing Redevelopment Project Association) in recognition of her efforts to overcome the crisis of delayed move-ins and protect the rights and interests of association members.

This plaque was awarded at a time when the Yungchang District redevelopment project has entered a phase of normalization, following difficulties caused by the dismissal of the executive leadership, move-in delays, and conflicts over additional contributions.

The Yungchang District redevelopment project has a total project cost of approximately 1.07 trillion won. At one point, concerns were even raised that the project might fail due to worsening profitability caused by interest rate hikes and rising construction costs in 2024, the dismissal of the executive leadership, and conflicts with the construction company. In particular, conflicts intensified as concerns grew over the infringement of members' property rights due to delays in move-in and the accrual of interest.

Councilor Jo Ji-young is credited with contributing to the normalization of the project by mediating conflicts among members and acting as a communication channel with administrative agencies amidst these circumstances.

Councilor Jo stated, "The Yungchang District redevelopment is the result of the patience and cooperation of the members," adding, "I thank the members who stood by us until the end despite the difficult situation."

She further declared, "I will do my utmost to resolve remaining administrative procedures and local pending issues so that Pyeongchon Trizia can establish itself as a representative residential complex of the region."

Meanwhile, it is reported that Pyeongchon Trizia has entered the final stages of the project, having largely resolved debt issues with the construction company and is awaiting the registration of preservation.
