국제라이온스협회354-B 지구 산하 동안라이온스클럽이 지난 6월 4일 저녁 마벨리에 평촌점에서 창립 16주년 기념식 및 회장 이·취임식을 개최했다. 이날 회장 이·취임식에서는 2023-2024 회기 이나금 회장이 이임하고 2024-2025 회기 송세비 회장이 취임했다.
이날 행사는 1부 창립 16주년 기념식 및 회장 이임식, 2부 신임회장 취임식, 3부 케이크 커팅식 및 만찬 순으로 진행됐다. 1부는 신입회원 입회선서, 기념사 및 이임사, 내빈 축사, 시상 순으로 진행됐다. 2부는 신임회장 취임선서, 클럽기 이양, 추대패 전달, 회장 취임사, 등의 순서로 진행됐다.
이나금 회장은 이임사에서 “한 해 동안 제가 회장직을 수행함에 있어 물심양면 지원해주신 직전 회장님들과 일관된 마음으로 묵묵히 응원해 주신 모든 분들께 깊은 감사와 사랑의 말씀 전한다. 회원 여러분들의 지속적인 참여와 동참 덕분에 좋은 성과를 이뤄낼 수 있었다”며, “신임 송세비 회장님은 우수한 리더십과 열정을 가진 분으로 책임감 있게 우리 안양 동안라이온스클럽을 더욱 발전 성장시키고 새로운 활력을 불어넣어 주실 거라 확신한다. 여러분들의 큰 도움, 진심으로 부탁드리며 저 또한 송세비 회장님을 도와 안양동안라이온스클럽의 무궁한 발전을 위해 헌신과 지원 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.
조성현 국제라이온스협회354-B지구 당선 총재는 축사에서 “곧 시작되는 새로운 회기에는 지구회관 신축 사업이 구체적인 모습을 드러낸다. 지구 회관이 완성되면 현재의 지구회관의 5배다. 현 회관의 주차 대수는 18대인데 새로 완성될 지구회관의 주차대수는 106대라서 우리 5,700여 전 회원이 참여하는 자체 행사를 얼마든지 개최할 수 있는 규모”라며, “클럽 회원을 증가시키자. 회원을 늘리는 것은 우리의 지역사회 봉사를 지속하고 확대하기 위함”이라고 말했다.

송세비 회장은 취임사에서 “라이온스의 장점은 크든 작든 다양하고 체계적인 봉사활동을 회원 여러분들과 함께 진행할 수 있다는 것”이라며, “우리가 더불어 살아가는 소외된 이웃을 위해 ‘초심으로 변함없이 꾸준히 나눔을 전하는 것’ 이것이 이번 회기의 슬로건이다. 우리의 작은 나눔의 날갯짓이 부자 중에 최고 부자, 행복하고 건강한 부자가 되는 나비 효과를 여러분들과 함께 누리게 되길 소망한다”고 말했다.

이날 행사 시상식에서는 김초원 전 회장이 100% 출석상, 이나금 회장이 무궁화사자대상, 이서목·유희은 회원이 총재표창패, 심미숙·윤가비 회원이 총재공로메달, 송세비 회장이 지역부총재상, 김초원·임정인 회원이 유공라이온상, 최서윤 회원이 지대위원장상, 이서목 회원이 회장상을 각각 수상했다. 이나금 회장·김진수 평촌라이온스회장은 감사패를 받았다.
