세월호 참사 12주기 및 국민 안전의 날을 맞아 안양 범계중학교(교장 박경숙)에서 학생자치회가 중심이 된 자발적 추모 행사가 열려 지역 사회에 울림을 주고 있다.

이번 행사는 ‘기억의 힘을 믿습니다’라는 슬로건 아래, 학생들이 비극의 역사를 기억하고 일상 속 안전 의식을 스스로 고취하기 위해 기획됐다. 특히 올해는 학생자치회 학생들이 지난 3월 안산 ‘4.16 기억교실’을 직접 견학하며 느낀 감정을 사진과 영상에 담아 추모 영상을 제작하는 등 기획 단계부터 학생들의 주도적인 참여가 빛났다.
