안양시사회복지협의회(회장 김광진)는 지난 2월 13일 롯데백화점 평촌점(지점장 최원석)의 후원으로 경기도지체장애인협회 안양시지회(회장 주길석)에 1백만원 상당의 라면 34박스를 전달했다고 밝혔다.

이번 나눔은 안양시사회복지협의회의 희망나눔사업 일환으로 추진됐으며, 명절을 앞두고 지역 장애인 가정에 실질적인 도움을 전하기 위해 마련됐다.

롯데백화점 평촌점은 지체장애인협회 안양시지회 지원을 위해 후원금 98만원을 안양시사회복지협의회에 기탁했고, 협의회는 해당 후원금으로 라면을 구입해 협회 회원들에게 전달했다.

특히 롯데백화점 평촌점은 지난해에 이어 올해도 후원을 이어오며 지역사회와 상생하는 기업의 사회적 책임을 실천하고 있다. 일회성 지원을 넘어 지속적인 나눔을 이어가고 있다는 점에서 의미를 더하고 있다.

김광진 안양시사회복지협의회 회장은 “2년 연속 지역 장애인 복지에 관심을 갖고 후원을 이어주신 데 깊이 감사드린다”며 “이번 나눔이 지체장애인협회 회원들께 따뜻한 명절을 보내는 데 작은 힘이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

This donation was part of the Anyang City Social Welfare Council's Hope Sharing Project and was designed to provide practical assistance to local families with disabilities ahead of the holidays.

Lotte Department Store Pyeongchon Branch donated 980,000 KRW to the Anyang City Social Welfare Council to support the Anyang City Branch of the Association for Persons with Physical Disabilities. The Council used the donation to purchase ramen and deliver it to association members.
