경기도교육청(교육감 임태희)이 이달부터 ‘경기교육 디지털플랫폼’ 구축 사업에 본격 착수해 3대 목표인 △학생·학부모와의 소통 강화 △교직원 행정업무 부담 경감 △인공지능(AI) 기반 맞춤형 챗봇 서비스 제공을 중심으로 경기 미래교육 환경 조성에 박차를 가할 계획이다.

지난 7월 15일부터 2026년 6월까지 총 330일 동안 모두 433여억 원을 투입해 진행하는 이번 사업은 경기교육의 대표 프로젝트로 담당 사업자(LG CNS 컨소시엄)와 적극 소통하며 디지털플랫폼을 구축할 방침이다.

주요 사업은 △인공지능(AI) 기반 교직원 업무협업 포털서비스 △교육공동체(학생‧학부모‧교직원) 포털서비스 △인공지능(AI) 기반 대화형(챗봇) 서비스 구축 등이다.

‘교육공동체 포털서비스’에는 학교가 학부모 소통에 사용하는 가정통신문, 알림장, 전자동의서 등의 각종 서비스가 하나의 플랫폼으로 통합될 예정이다. 이를 통해 그동안 학교별로 다양한 앱을 활용했던 불편함을 해소하고, 학부모가 쉽게 학교생활 정보를 확인하고 서류 등을 편리하게 제출할 수 있도록 개선한다.

교직원 업무협업 포털서비스는 메일, 메신저, 드라이브 등을 하나로 연결해 업무를 혁신한다. 인공지능 기반 대화형(챗봇) 서비스는 학교생활 및 교육행정 업무 질문에 챗봇이 답변함으로써 업무의 효율성 증진을 도모한다.

경기도교육청은 디지털플랫폼 구축 착수 보고회를 오는 8월에 개최해 교육구성원을 대상으로 세부 사항을 안내할 예정이다. 이후 11월 중 일부 기관(학교 등)을 대상으로 시범운영을 거친 뒤, 2026년 3월에는 도내 모든 학교와 기관에 전면 개통할 수 있도록 힘쓸 계획이다.

경기도교육청은 이번 사업 추진으로 단순한 시스템 개선을 넘어 학생·학부모·교직원을 함께 연결하는 디지털 교육공동체 플랫폼 구축에 최선을 다하고, 학생 중심의 미래교육 환경을 실현하는 디지털 전환을 지속적으로 추진해 나갈 방침이다.

The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Tae-hee) will begin the ‘Gyeonggi Education Digital Platform’ construction project in earnest starting this month, and will accelerate the creation of a future education environment in Gyeonggi Province with three major goals: △Strengthening communication with students and parents, △Reducing administrative burden on faculty, and △Providing customized chatbot services based on artificial intelligence (AI).

This project, which will be carried out for a total of 330 days from July 15 to June 2026 with a total investment of 43.3 billion won, is a representative project for Gyeonggi education, and plans to actively communicate with the responsible business operator (LG CNS Consortium) and build a digital platform.

The main projects include: △AI-based faculty and staff collaboration portal service △Education community (students, parents, faculty) portal service △AI-based conversational (chatbot) service construction, etc.

The ‘Education Community Portal Service’ will integrate various services such as school newsletters, notices, and electronic consent forms used by schools for communication with parents into a single platform. This will resolve the inconvenience of using various apps for each school and improve the ability for parents to easily check school life information and conveniently submit documents.

The faculty and staff collaboration portal service will innovate work by connecting mail, messenger, and drive into one. The AI-based conversational (chatbot) service will seek to improve work efficiency by having a chatbot answer questions about school life and educational administration work.

The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education plans to hold a digital platform construction commencement report meeting in August to provide detailed information to education members. After a pilot operation for some institutions (schools, etc.) in November, we plan to fully open the system to all schools and institutions in the province by March 2026.
