의왕도시공사가 탄소중립 실현과 지속가능한 지역사회 조성을 위한 협력 기반을 마련했다.

의왕도시공사(사장 노성화)는 지난 4월 13일 (사)미래탄소중립포럼과 ‘2050 탄소중립 녹색성장 실현’을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이번 협약은 정부의 탄소중립·녹색성장 정책 기조에 발맞춰 관련 정책 발굴과 협력 네트워크를 확대하기 위해 추진됐다.

양 기관은 협약을 통해 ▲임직원 전문성 및 실무 대응역량 강화 ▲탄소중립 정책 발굴 ▲대외 협력 네트워크 확대 등 친환경 경영 체계 고도화를 공동 추진할 계획이다.

노성화 사장은 “탄소중립과 친환경 경영은 공공기관이 선도적으로 추진해야 할 핵심 과제”라며 “전문기관과의 협력을 강화해 시민이 체감할 수 있는 지속가능한 공공서비스를 구현해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편 의왕도시공사는 협약 체결 이후 세부 추진 과제와 실행 방안을 구체화해 교육과 실천 중심의 탄소중립 협력 체계를 구축해 나갈 방침이다.

Uiwang Urban Development Corporation (President Noh Seong-hwa) announced that it signed a business agreement with the Future Carbon Neutrality Forum on April 13 to realize "Carbon Neutral Green Growth by 2050."

This agreement was pursued to identify relevant policies and expand cooperation networks in alignment with the government's policy direction regarding carbon neutrality and green growth.
