경기도의회 김재훈 의원(국민의힘·안양4)이 지난 10월 21일 경기도의회 안양상담소에서 경기도미래세대재단 김현삼 대표, 기현주 청년본부장과 함께 ‘2026년 경기도미래세대재단 세부사업 조정안’을 주제로 정담회를 가졌다.

이날 정담회에서는 최근 사회적 문제로 떠오른 고립은둔 청년 지원 강화 및 전용공간 조성사업의 필요성이 주요 의제로 다뤄졌다.

김재훈 의원은 “고립은둔 청년 문제는 개인의 차원을 넘어 사회적 관계 단절과 지역 공동체의 붕괴로 이어질 수 있는 심각한 사회문제”라며, “청년의 회복과 재도약을 위해 단기적 지원이 아닌 심리·사회·취업 단계별 통합지원 체계 구축이 필요하다”고 강조했다.

또한 김 의원은 경기도미래세대재단이 추진 중인 ‘경기 고립은둔 청년 지원사업’과 ‘전용공간 조성사업’이 청년복지정책의 핵심으로 자리 잡을 수 있도록 경기도의회의 정책적 지원과 예산 반영이 중요하다고 밝혔다.

이어 그는 “공간 조성에만 머무르지 말고, 상담·심리치유·사회관계 회복 프로그램, 일자리 연계, 자조모임 등 지속 가능한 지원 생태계를 만들어야 한다”며, “청년이 스스로 지역사회와 다시 연결될 수 있도록 맞춤형 프로그램을 강화해 달라”고 당부했다.

경기도는 2026년 예산안에 고립은둔 청년 지원사업 확대, 청년공간 활성화, 청년 사다리 프로그램 등 다양한 청년정책을 반영하고 있다.

김재훈 의원은 “경기도가 청년정책의 선도적 모델을 제시할 수 있도록 도의회 차원에서 적극 지원하겠다”며, “청년이 다시 사회로 나아갈 수 있는 실질적인 정책이 마련되길 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
