경기도의회 여성가족평생교육위원회 김재훈 의원(국민의힘, 안양4)이 지난 8월 20일 여성가족평생교육위원회 회의실에서 ‘2025 경기도 고립·은둔 청년 지원사업 중간 점검 정담회’를 개최해 사업 현황과 보완 과제를 논의했다.

이번 정담회는 올해 추진 중인 고립·은둔 청년 지원사업의 진행 상황을 살펴보고, 추진 과정에서 나타난 한계와 개선 방향을 모색하기 위해 열렸다.

김재훈 의원은 모두발언에서 “청년 한 사람의 회복이 곧 우리 사회 전체의 회복으로 이어진다”며, “실효성 있는 대안을 찾아 정책에 반영하겠다”고 밝혔다.

정담회에는 김재훈 의원을 비롯해 경기도 관계 공무원, 경기도미래세대재단, 사업 수행 및 협력 기관, 전문가 등이 참석했다. 이날 간담회에서 한국승강기안전공단은 고립·은둔 청년 대상 일경험 지원사업 연계 방안을 제안했다. 간담회에 참석한 전문가들은 사업 공백기로 인한 ‘재고립’ 방지를 위한 제도적 장치와 현장 개선 필요성을 지적했다.

김재훈 의원은 “오늘 논의된 보완 과제와 연계 방안을 정책에 충실히 반영해 청년들이 변화를 체감할 수 있도록 하겠다”며, “사업이 청년들의 자립과 사회 복귀로 이어지길 바란다”고 강조했다.

한편, 김재훈 의원은 현행 ‘경기도 은둔형 청소년 지원 조례’의 대상을 청소년에서 청년까지 확대하는 ‘경기도 고립·은둔 청소년 및 청년 지원 조례’ 개정을 추진하고 있다.

Representative Kim Jae-hoon (People Power Party, Anyang 4), a member of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council's Women, Family, and Lifelong Education Committee, held the "2025 Gyeonggi Province Isolated and Reclusive Youth Support Project Mid-Term Review Meeting" in the committee's conference room on August 20th to discuss the project's current status and areas for improvement.
