안양과 과천 지역을 아우르는 국제라이온스협회 354-B지구 7지역 라이온들의 '김상철 전 총재배 친선 당구대회'가 지역 동호인들의 참여 속에 성황리에 마무리됐다.

특히 이날 행사장에는 조성현 전임 총재가 직접 방문해 참가자들을 격려했으며, 여성클럽이 참여한 이벤트 경기와 경품 수여도 함께 진행돼 현장 분위기를 한층 더 화기애애하게 만들었다.

올해로 4회째를 맞이한 이 대회는 7지역 사자회(회장 송영국)의 주관 아래 이제는 지역 라이온들의 대표적인 친목 행사로 자리 잡았다. 특히 이 대회는 김상철 전 총재가 사비를 출연하여 계속 이어올 수 있었다.

Approximately 50 players and members from several clubs participated, engaging in heated matches on the green billiards tables.
