군포의왕교육지원청(교육장 성정현)이 지난 3월 26일 의왕시청 대회의실에서 의왕다움공유학교와 미래교육협력지구와 관련한 ‘2025 의왕 지역교육협력 정책 학부모 설명회’를 개최했다. 의왕다움공유학교와 미래교육협력지구는 의왕 지역 자원을 기반으로 학생 및 학부모의 수요에 맞춘 개별 맞춤 교육 실현을 위한 대표적인 지역교육협력 정책.

군포의왕교육지원청은 지난 2월 담당교사 설명회를 시작으로, 교(원)장/감 통합회의를 통한 관리자 대상 설명회에 이어 이날 학부모 설명회를 개최했다. 설명회는 1부 공유학교, 2부 미래교육협력지구로 구분해 진행됐다. 1부에서는 2024년와 달라진 경기공유학교 정책, 공유학교 유형별 프로그램, 새로 구축된 홈페이지를 통한 수강 신청 방법 등을 소개해 학부모들이 공유학교를 쉽게 이해하고 접근할 수 있도록 안내했다.

2부에서는 올해 추진되는 9개의 추진 과제, 20개의 세부 사업에 대한 자세한 설명을 진행했다. 이어서 ‘찾아가는 시장실: 학부모와의 대화’ 시간을 마련, 김성제 의왕시장이 학부모의 교육 관련 궁금증에 시장이 직접 대하는 시간을 가졌다.

‘과정은 즐겁고, 결과는 행복한’ 의왕 다움 공유학교는 3월 12일부터 19일까지 2차에 걸쳐 봄 프로그램을 접수받아 인성, 생태·환경, AI·디지털 등 7개 영역에서 15개 프로그램을 운영할 예정이며 3월 29일(토) 첫 수업이 열렸다.

성정현 교육장은 “미래 사회 변화에 적응할 수 있는 새로운 지역 교육 생태계를 활성화해 미래교육 체계 구축을 위해 더욱 노력해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Raising parent understanding of regional education policies such as shared schools and future education cooperation districts

Gunpo Uiwang Office of Education (Superintendent Seong Jeong-hyeon) held the ‘2025 Uiwang Regional Education Cooperation Policy Parent Briefing Session’ related to Uiwang Daum Shared School and Future Education Cooperation District in the conference room of Uiwang City Hall on March 26. Uiwang Daum Shared School and Future Education Cooperation District are representative regional education cooperation policies for realizing individualized education tailored to the needs of students and parents based on Uiwang regional resources.

Gunpo Uiwang Office of Education held a parent briefing session on this day following a briefing session for teachers in charge in February and a briefing session for administrators through a joint meeting of principals/superintendents. The briefing session was divided into two parts: Part 1: shared schools and Part 2: future education cooperation districts. In Part 1, we introduced the Gyeonggi Shared School policy that has changed since 2024, programs by type of shared school, and how to apply for classes through the newly built website, so that parents can easily understand and access the shared school.

In Part 2, we provided a detailed explanation of the 9 projects and 20 detailed projects being promoted this year. Next, we held a time called ‘The Mayor’s Office on the Go: Conversation with Parents’, where Mayor Kim Seong-je of Uiwang had time to personally answer parents’ questions about education.

Uiwang Daum Shared School, which is ‘enjoyable in the process and happy in the result’, will accept applications for the spring program in two rounds from March 12 to 19 and will operate 15 programs in 7 areas including character, ecology/environment, AI/digital, etc., and the first class was held on Saturday, March 29.

Superintendent Seong Jeong-hyeon said, “We will work harder to build a future education system by activating a new regional education ecosystem that can adapt to future social changes.”
