안양시가 연현마을 공원 조성사업에 본격 착수했다.

안양시는 연현마을 공원 조성사업 관련 소송에서 최종 승소한 후, 관련 회의를 소집해 보상, 향후 공사 일정에 대해 논의하는 등 본격적으로 공원 조성사업을 다시 시작했다.

연현마을 공원 조성사업은 안양시 만안구 석수동 일대 제일산업개발의 아스콘공장 부지에 3만7,546제곱미터(㎡) 규모의 근린공원을 조성하는 사업이다.

안양시는 지난 7월 10일 안양시 도시계획과 및 공원관리과 관계 공무원, 사업 시행자인 경기주택도시공사(GH) 관계자 등 9명이 참석한 가운데 회의를 갖고, 기존 토지와 건물 외의 지장물에 대한 감정평가 등 잔여 보상절차에 대한 이행과 토지주와의 보상 협의, 향후 공사 일정 등에 대해 심도있게 논의했다.

안양시는 이번 공원 조성사업 재개와 함께 영업을 중단하게 될, 한일레미콘 근로자들과 간담회 자리를 마련해 의견을 청취할 예정이다. 한일레미콘은 그동안 연현마을 공원이 조성될 해당 부지에서 영업을 해왔다.
