의왕시 드림스타트는 지난 2월 25일 아동들이 다양한 직업 세계를 직접 경험하며 미래를 설계할 수 있도록 돕는 ‘드림팩토리’ 진로 체험 견학을 진행했다. 이번 행사는 아이들이 평소 접하기 어려운 현직 전문가들과 만나 생생한 현장의 목소리를 듣고 구체적인 진로를 그려볼 수 있도록 마련됐다.

이날 체험에 참여한 아동들은 먼저 현대자동차 모터 스튜디오를 찾아 자동차의 역사와 미래 모빌리티 기술을 한눈에 살펴보는 시간을 가졌다. 아이들은 전시 공간에서 자동차가 어떤 원리로 움직이는지 배우고, 앞으로 우리 삶을 바꿀 친환경 차량과 자율주행 기술에 대한 상세한 설명을 들었다. 특히 자동차 디자인부터 연구개발, 생산, 마케팅에 이르기까지 하나의 자동차가 만들어지기 위해 얼마나 다양한 직업군이 협력하는지 이해하며 시야를 넓혔다.

Uiwang City Dream Start held a 'Dream Factory' career experience program on February 25th, helping children explore diverse careers and shape their futures. This program was designed to allow children to meet with professionals they might not normally encounter, hear firsthand accounts from the field, and develop concrete career paths.

The children who participated in the program first visited the Hyundai Motor Studio, where they gained a comprehensive understanding of the history of automobiles and future mobility technologies.
