군포시가 민선8기 주요 현안 사업의 추진 상황을 점검하며 현장 중심 행정 강화에 나섰다.

군포시는 민선8기 출범 4년 차를 맞아 공약 및 주요 사업의 추진 상황을 점검하기 위해 지난 5일 시정 핵심 사업장 6곳을 방문해 현장 점검을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 현장 방문은 주요 사업의 진행 상황을 직접 확인하고 문제점을 점검해 시민들이 체감할 수 있는 성과를 높이기 위해 마련됐다.

이날 점검에는 하은호 군포시장을 비롯해 부시장과 기획예산실장, 관련 부서장 등이 참석해 사업 현장을 둘러보고 추진 현황을 보고받았다. 이어 사업 추진 과정에서 예상되는 문제점과 향후 추진 방향에 대해 의견을 나눴다.

시는 먼저 1기 신도시 재건축 선도지구 현장을 방문해 주민 간담회를 열고 재건축 추진 과정에서의 현장 의견을 청취했다. 이어 철쭉동산을 찾아 다가오는 축제를 앞두고 시설 안전 상태와 행사 준비 상황을 점검하며 안전 관리에 만전을 기해 줄 것을 당부했다.

또한 대야미 공공주택지구와 국도 47호선 지하화 사업 현장을 잇달아 방문해 공정 관리 상황을 확인하고 사업이 차질 없이 추진될 수 있도록 철저한 관리를 주문했다. 이어 군포역 트리아츠 지식산업센터와 AI 데이터센터 건립 예정 부지를 찾아 기업 유치와 미래 산업 기반 조성 현황도 살폈다.
