경기도는 지난 20일 경기도청 다산홀에서 ‘2024년 경기도 성별영향평가 정책개선 우수사례 경진대회’에서 오산시의 ‘도서관 독서문화 프로그램 활성화’ 사업이 최우수 성평등 정책에 선정됐다.

안양권역에서는 안양시의 ‘공중화장실 불법촬영 점검’과 의왕시의 ‘성별고정관념을 대표하는 이미지 및 픽토그램 변경’ 정책이 각각 장려상을 수상했다.

경기도는 1, 2차 심사를 통과한 총 10건의 사업에 대한 사례발표를 진행했다. 여기에 200명의 청중평가단 투표와 전문가 심사 점수를 합산해 최종 순위를 선정했다.

최우수 정책으로 선정된 오산시의 ‘도서관 독서문화 프로그램 활성화 사업’은 ‘주말·야간 강좌 개설 확대로 주양육자 이외의 돌봄 참여 기회 마련’으로 돌봄의 성별 격차를 완화에 기여했다.

우수상에는 구리시의 ‘저소득층 자살예방사업 지원 사업’ 과 경기도 건축디자인과의 ‘범죄예방 도시환경디자인 사업’이 선정됐다. 구리시와 경기도 건축디자인과는 성인지 접근의 중요성을 인지하여 현장 전반의 성인지 감수성을 끌어올려 모두가 행복한 경기도를 구현했다.

장려상에는 안양시와 의왕시 외에 △수원시, ‘취약계층 아동통합서비스’, △용인시, ‘공공기관 운영 관리’, △화성시, ‘문화기반구축 및 콘텐츠 활성화 사업’ △고양시, ‘지방육아종합지원센터 운영’ △파주시, ‘농기계 임대사업소 운영’이 선정됐다.

성별영향평가는 정책이나 제도가 특정 성에 불리한 결과를 초래하지 않는지 분석·점검해 정책개선에 반영하는 것이다.

선정된 우수사례는 성별영향평가가 실질적 정책 이행으로 연계될 수 있도록 31개 시군이 공유하여 제도에 대한 이해도를 높이고 정책개선의 성과를 확산할 계획이다.

김미성 경기도 여성가족국장은 “성평등 실현에 기여한 다양한 정책 사례를 발굴하고 공유할 수 있어 의미가 크다”면서 “앞으로도 성인지적 정책 개선을 지속적으로 추진해 도민의 삶에 실질적인 변화를 만들어 나가겠다”고 말했다.

On the 20th, Gyeonggi-do selected Osan City's 'Library Reading Culture Program Activation' project as the best gender equality policy at the '2024 Gyeonggi-do Gender Impact Assessment Policy Improvement Best Practice Competition' held at the Dasan Hall of the Gyeonggi Provincial Office.

In the Anyang area, Anyang City's 'Inspection of Illegal Filming in Public Restrooms' and Uiwang City's 'Change of Images and Pictograms Representing Gender Stereotypes' policies each received encouragement awards.

Gyeonggi-do presented case studies for a total of 10 projects that passed the first and second screenings. The final ranking was determined by adding up the votes of the 200-member audience evaluation panel and expert evaluation scores. Osan City’s ‘Library Reading Culture Program Activation Project’, which was selected as the best policy, contributed to alleviating the gender gap in care by ‘providing opportunities for caregiving for those other than primary caregivers by expanding weekend and night classes.’
