(사)전국지역신문협회(중앙회장 김용숙, 이하 전지협)는 지난 13일 오전 서울 중앙회 회의실에서 신임 경기도협의회장 임명장 수여식을 개최했다.

이날 수여식에서 황호덕 경기인저널 발행인 겸 대표이사가 전지협의 핵심 지역인 경기도협의회를 이끌 신임 회장으로 공식 임명됐다.

행사에는 김용숙 중앙회장을 비롯해 김춘식 수석부회장, 이여춘 부회장 등 중앙회 회장단과 박우열 경기도협의회 수석부회장, 정혜윤 사무국장 등이 참석해 경기 지역 언론의 새로운 출발을 축하했다.

황호덕 신임 협의회장은 취임 소감을 통해 "경기도라는 광범위한 지역의 협의회장을 맡게 되어 막중한 책임감을 느낀다"며 "앞으로 회원사 간의 결속력을 다지고, 지역 신문의 권익 보호와 협의회 활성화를 위해 실질적인 발판을 마련하겠다"고 포부를 밝혔다.

한편, 황 회장은 오랜 기간 경기 지역에서 언론인으로 활동하며 지역 사회의 목소리를 대변해 왔으며, 이번 임명을 통해 경기도 내 지역 신문들의 상생 발전을 위한 본격적인 행보에 나설 예정이다.

The National Association of Regional Newspapers (Chairman Kim Yong-sook; hereinafter KARNE) held an appointment ceremony for the new Chairman of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council on the morning of the 13th at the central office conference room in Seoul.

At the ceremony, Hwang Ho-deok, Publisher and CEO of Gyeonggi In Journal, was officially appointed as the new chairman to lead the Gyeonggi Provincial Council, a key regional branch of KARNE.

The event was attended by the central leadership, including Chairman Kim Yong-sook, Senior Vice Chairman Kim Chun-sik, and Vice Chairman Lee Yeo-chun, as well as Gyeonggi Provincial Council Senior Vice Chairman Park Woo-yeol and Secretary General Jeong Hye-yun, who celebrated the new beginning of the Gyeonggi regional media.
