경기도의회 도시환경위원회 김옥순 의원(더불어민주당, 비례)이 지난 9월 12일 서울 엘리에나호텔에서 열린 ‘2025 대한민국을 빛낸 예술문화대상’ 시상식에서 의회부문 대상을 수상했다.

‘2025 대한민국을 빛낸 예술문화대상’은 확고한 국가관과 헌신적인 활동으로 국가 발전에 기여한 인물에게 수여되는 상으로, 김옥순 의원은 도시환경 개선과 청년 주거복지, 교육·환경 현안 해결 등 도민 삶의 질 향상에 기여한 공로를 높이 평가받아 이상을 수상했다.

김옥순 의원은 대표적으로 △경기도 정원치유 활성화 지원 조례, △경기도 경기알이백(RE100) 지원 조례 등을 발의하며 지속 가능한 복지와 환경 개선을 위한 제도적 기반을 마련했다. 또한 청년 주거 안정, 학교 급식실 근무환경 개선 등 생활 밀착형 현안 해결에도 적극 나서 도민이 체감할 수 있는 성과를 이끌어냈다는 평가를 받았다.

Gyeonggi Provincial Council Member Kim Ok-soon (Democratic Party of Korea, proportional representation) of the Urban Environment Committee won the Grand Prize in the Legislative Sector at the "2025 Korea Shining Arts and Culture Awards" held at the Eliena Hotel in Seoul on September 12th.
