경기도의회 정윤경 부의장(더불어민주당, 군포1)이 지난 10월 29일 경기도의회 군포상담소에서 충남 청양군에 위치한 군포시청소년수련원 노후시설 개선사업과 군포시 관내 어린이공원 정비공사 예산지원 방안 논의를 위한 정담회를 열었다.

군포시청소년수련원은 군포시가 운영하는 청소년 체험시설로, 천혜의 자연환경 속에서 생태체험, 리더십 캠프, 환경교육 등을 진행할 수 있는 최적의 공간이다. 군포시 관내 학교는 물론 시민 누구나 단체활동, 워크숍, 힐링 프로그램 등 다양한 용도로 이용할 수 있다.

이날 군포시청 아동청소년과 관계자들은 “청양군 청소년수련원은 대부분의 숙박시설이 목조로 되어 있어 20년 이상 노후화가 진행됐다”며, “배수로와 캠핑장 등 전반적인 보수가 시급하다”며, “청소년들의 안전한 이용을 위해 시설 전면 정비가 필요하다”고 말했다.

군포시 생태공원녹지과 관계자는 “관내 어린이공원 역시 노후 놀이시설과 안전시설 부족으로 개선 요구가 지속되고 있다”고 말했다.

정윤경 부의장은 “청소년들이 안전하고 쾌적한 환경에서 체험활동을 할 수 있도록 수련원 시설 개선을 적극 지원하겠다”며, “군포시 내 어린이공원 정비사업 또한 도 차원의 예산지원과 행정적 지원이 이뤄질 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
