최대호 안양시장이 강득구 의원(더불어민주당, 안양만안)과 함께 6월 18일 신안산선 광명 구간 지하터널 붕괴 현장 사고수습본부 상황실을 방문해 안양 시민의 불편을 최소화하기 위한 조속하고 적극적인 대응을 촉구했다.

최대호 시장, 강득구 의원과 안양시 공무원 등은 이날 오후 4시30분 광명시 일직동에 마련된 사고수습본부 상황실에서 시행사 ㈜넥스트레인, 시공사 포스코이앤씨 등 관계자를 만나 시민들과 소상공인의 민원 사항을 공유하고 실질적인 대책 마련 방안을 집중 논의했다.

지난 4월 11일 발생한 신안산선 광명 구간 지하터널 붕괴 사고로 인해 광명과 인접한 안양시 박달동 친목마을과 호현마을 등의 주민들이 대중교통 이용과 차량 통행에 불편을 겪고, 소상공인들도 영업에 어려움을 겪고 있는 상황이다.

안양시는 사고 직후 친목마을에서 박달도서관까지 마을버스를 긴급 투입해 한 달여간 운행했으며, 현재는 시공사 측이 셔틀버스 3대를 운행하고 있다.

안양시는 지난 5월 2일 김동근 도로교통국장을 팀장으로 민원·교통·심리·현장 지원 등 4개 기능반으로 구성된 ‘신안산선 붕괴사고 민원대응 전담팀(TF)’을 25명 규모로 구성해 운영 중이다.
