안양시청소년재단(이사장 최대호) 산하 안양시학교밖청소년지원센터(센터장 민미연)가 2023년 대안교육 업무 유공 기관에 선정돼 경기도 교육감 표창을 수상했다.
안양시학교밖청소년지원센터는 ‘의무교육단계 학업중단학생 학습지원사업’을 통해 대안교육 활성화에 기여한 점을 높이 평가받아 경기도 내 학교밖청소년지원센터 중 유일하게 경기도 교육감 표창을 수상했다.
안양시학교밖청소년지원센터는 2020년 5월부터 ‘의무교육단계 미취학·학업중단학생 학습지원사업’에 선정된 이후로 꾸준히 사업을 이어 나가고 있다.
특히 이번 수상으로 안양시학교밖청소년지원센터는 2023년도에 총 9번 수상하는 쾌거를 거둬 학교 밖 청소년의 성장에 기여하는 우수 기관임을 입증했다.
민미연 안양시학교밖청소년지원센터장은 “앞으로도 청소년들이 소외되지 않고 건강한 사회인으로 성장할 수 있도록 관심과 노력을 기울이겠다”고 밝혔다.
