의왕시(시장 김성제)가 경기도 ‘2024년 제안 활성화 시군 평가’에서 2년 연속 우수기관으로 선정됐다.

의왕시는 △채택‧실시건수 △공모전 추진 △국민생각함 활용 △시군창안대회 추천 등 정량평가 항목뿐만 아니라, △생활공감정책참여단을 활용한 제안 토론회 △불채택 제안 다시보기 △혁신 주니어보드 운영 등 참여형 제안 발굴 정책 추진으로 정성평가에서도 우수한 평가를 받았다.

이번 평가에서 의왕시는 지난해에 이어 Ⅲ그룹 1위, 전체 31개 시군 중 3위를 기록하며 2년 연속 우수기관으로 선정되는 의미 있는 성과를 거뒀다.

경기도는 31개 시군을 대상으로 국민 제안제도를 적극 활용해 도민이 체감할 수 있는 정책을 발굴하고자 지난 2017년부터 매년 ‘제안 활성화 시군 평가’를 실시하고 있다.

평가 항목은 지자체의 제안 채택률 및 실시율, 제안 공모전 실시 여부, 제안 발굴 노력도 등을 포함하며, 2023년 10월부터 2024년 9월까지의 실적을 바탕으로 정량 및 정성평가로 진행됐다.

이번 수상으로 의왕시는 경기도 기관표창 및 우수공무원 표창과 함께 시상금 200만 원을 받게 됐다.

Uiwang City (Mayor Kim Seong-je) was selected as an excellent institution for 2 consecutive years in the Gyeonggi-do '2024 Proposal Activation City and County Evaluation'.

Uiwang City received excellent evaluations not only in quantitative evaluation items such as △number of adoptions and implementations, △promotion of contests, △use of the National Thinking Box, and △recommendations for city and county innovation contests, but also in qualitative evaluations for promoting participatory proposal discovery policies such as △proposal discussion forums utilizing the Life Sympathy Policy Participation Group, △review of unaccepted proposals, and △operation of the Innovation Junior Board.
