안양과천상공회의소가 지난 1월 3일 오전 대강당에서 ‘2025년 신년인사회’를 개최했다.
이 자리에는 고영인 경기도 경제부지사, 최대호 안양시장, 신계용 과천시장, 하영주 과천시의회 의장, 경기도의회 김성수᛫이채명 의원, 안양시의회 윤경숙 더불어민주당 대표의원, 김정중 국민의힘 대표의원, 안양시의회᛫과천시의회 의원을 비롯한 유관기관장, 단체장, 대학 총장, 경제인 등 200여 명이 참석했다.
안양과천상의 신년 인사회는 부안공항 여객기 참사로 무거운 분위기 속에 배해동 회장의 신년사, 고영인 경기도 경제부지사·최대호 안양시장·신계용 과천시장 축사에 이어 새해 떡국 식사 순으로 진행됐다.
배해동 안양과천상의 회장은 신년사에서 “올해 한국의 경제 성장률이 1% 성장에 머물 것으로 예상되며 여전히 도전과 불확실성 속에 놓여 있다”며, △기업의 사회적 책임을 다할 수 있도록 지역사회와의 상생 모델 구축, △청년들에게 더 많은 기회와 희망 제공, △이업종 교류 활성화 통한 시너지 극대화 등을 약속하고, “새해에는 우리 기업들이 세계 유수의 기업들과 경쟁에서 앞설 수 있는 환경이 조성되어 더 큰 도약과 성장을 이루며 새로운 역사를 써 내려가는 한 해가 되기를 기원한다”고 말했다.

축사에 나선 고영인 경기도 경제부지사는 “나라가 비상계엄 선포와 그에 따른 탄핵 국면으로 위기 상황을 맞고 있다. 대외 신인도가 떨어지고 또 환율이 변동하고 주가가 요동치면서 많은 분들이 걱정을 하고 있는 상황”이라며, “경기도는 비상경제회의를 열어 △현장 중심 신속한 대응 과감한 대처, △금융 지원 확대, 판로 확대 지원 등의 중소기업 내수 활성화 방안 마련, △투자 유치와 내수 진작 정책 강화 통한 지역 경제 활성화 도모 등의 목표를 정했다”고 말했다. 그는 이어 “경기도는 기업하기 좋은 환경을 조성해 나가기 위해서 불필요한 규제를 정비하고 신속한 인허가 행정처의 기업 활동을 뒷받침하며 특히 기업인 여러분의 다양한 의견을 적극 지속 수렴하여 현장이 원하는 정책을 일관되게 추진해 나가도록 하겠다”고 덧붙였다.
최대호 안양시장은 “고금리 고환율에다가 원자재 가격 상승, 그리고 안으로는 정치적인 불안정 또 소비심리 위축 등으로 인해서 기업 활동하는 데 국내외적으로 환경이 너무 어렵다”며, “안양시가 기업인 여러분들과 함께 지속 가능한 도시 발전, 그리고 지속 가능한 기업의 환경을 구축하기 위해 꾸준히 노력하겠다. 안양시가 기업인 여러분의 꿈과 비전을, 그리고 더 좋은 기업 환경을 위해서 열심히 응원하고 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
신계용 과천시장은 “과천시는 앞으로 푸드테크 산업을 성장 동력으로 삼아서 앞으로 푸드테크 거점 도시가 되고자 한다”며, “과천이 새로운 첨단 IT 미래 성장의 거점 도시로서 성장 발전하는 데 과천시가 최대한 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 약속했다.
하영주 과천시의회 의장은 “기업들이 올해는 참으로 힘들고 어려운 지경”이라며, “과천시의회가 규범이라든지 규칙이라든지 이런 거에 좀 더 적극적으로 임해서 경제인 여러분들이 좀 더 활성화된 기업으로 발돋움할 수 있도록 돕겠다”고 말했다.
